Every winter, the Montreal High Lights Festival throws the spotlight on one particular city, and in 2009, that city will be Paris! Every year, the City of Light is the setting for a major event where dozens of acrobats, tightrope walkers, clowns, jugglers and trapeze artists gather to display their skills. That event, the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain (Worldwide Festival of the Circus of Tomorrow), is one of the most important of its kind anywhere! The program for the 2009 Montreal High Lights Festival is designed to showcase international artists fresh from their triumphs at the Worldwide Festival in Paris.

 

The Festival of the Circus of Tomorrow was the first event of its kind, and for 30 years, it has been welcoming circus artists from every culture and ethnic background to come together to share experience and knowledge, invent new art forms, and perform the most ancient and the most contemporary of the circus arts for astonished audiences.

 

Overnight, the nearly 1,000 circus acts featured (946 to be exact) had written a new page in circus history.

Ce spectacle était vraiment bon c'est quelque chose à une pas manquer!!! Un gros bravo à tous les artistes en particulier william wei-liang lin, la troupe du chemin de fer, dima shine, à emma henshall et sans oublier le maitre de cérémonie.Félicitation pour ce super spectacle.

Magnifique spectacle, des artistes et des athlètes merveilleux, un rythme endiablé, des prestations hautes en couleurs, un excellent maître de cérémonie. Un bravo particulier à Dima Shine et Wei-Liang Lin ainsi qu'à Emma Henshall et son coach Victor Fomine. Et notre école de cirque fait un excellent travail !!!
