After Mexico in January 2007 and Igloolik in June 2008, the Project settles at La TOHU where in the course of a residency more than 20 artists coming from Nunavut, Mexico and the Province of Quebec will collaborate to combine their individual ideals into one collective creation presented to the public as a work- in-progress.

Known as the Fibonacci suite, this mathematical sequence, which produces the Golden Number, is observed in the growth patterns of most living organisms and represent a universal ideal of beauty and harmony. Driven by the belief that through art we can build bridges between cultures, the Fibonacci Project, like an ever growing plant, is a living creation fed by collaborations with artists from all over the world.
“An invitation deep into the creative process involved in making any art, a journey through all the ways of imagining beauty in the world, a fascinating mix of circus disciplines and languages, and a challenge that says to all of us: you too are an artist and your life is your greatest and most demanding work.”
