In Éric Nadeau’s hands, found objects and recycled metal become robots, which he then puts into assemblages and installations that make them seem almost human. For ten years, Nadeau has been showing us different ways of looking at bodies and machines, humans and environments. Underlying his work is the quest to understand how far we have come, as humans, in terms of the objects we make and leave behind to mark our short time on earth.
Special thanks to the City of Montreal for its contribution.
